In 2018 the Tennessee General Assembly approved online training as an option for the governing board members to meet their training and continuing education requirements mandated. TAUD is offering online training courses to meet these requirements. Each course provides the utility official with one hour of training and continuing education. These courses have been approved by the Office of the Comptroller of the Treasury for meeting the utility official’s twelve hours of initial training or for continuing education credit. TAUD will continue to offer additional courses as they are developed and approved.
